How Our Hiring Process Works
The Application

Apply to one of our open positions.
A member of the recruiting team will reach out via phone, email or text within 2-3 business days with information on next steps.
- You may receive a link (via email) to answer pre-recorded questions via video and to complete a typing test during this time.
We will review your job history and qualifications for our open positions. If we select to move forward with your application, you will be scheduled for a video chat with a recruiter on our open positions.
If your application is not selected, you will receive an email informing you of the reasons.

Screening and Interview

You will have an initial phone call with our recruiters and complete any assessments that are needed. If all qualifications are met, you will be scheduled for an interview with our hiring manager.
- This interview will take place over video.
- There are instances where you may have to go through a second interview
After your interview you will be contacted for an offer of employment or a decline for the position.
- Sometimes determinations can occur during the interview, in which case the manager will let you know during that time.

Temporary Customer Service Representative

We are looking for people who enjoy helping others to successfully answer telephone calls from customers inquiring about goods and services from clients of Five Star Call Centers, while providing high-quality service with a helpful, professional attitude. You will answer for a multitude of different client types.

This position is TEMPORARY and onsite in Guatemala City. Classes starting mid to end of October.

Qualifications

3 months to 1 year of previous call center, customer service, or office background experience is preferred but not required
A high school diploma or GED is preferred
+16 years of age, (work permit is required for those under 18)
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English, B2+ level

Required Skills/Abilities

Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Ability to use technology effectively and productively

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll take the lead in addressing customer questions and concerns on all products and services through multiple communication channels such as phone(outbound & inbound), email and/or chat.
Effectively communicate with patience and understanding
Be available at your desk, maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions
Maintaining composure in challenging situations

Work Days - Mon-Fri & Every Other Weekend (will have 2 days off during week on wkd rotation)
Status - Temporary ; 20-40 hours
